  • 1895 - Foundation of Locomotives and Carriage Workshop of Brasov on the same location with the actual SC MARUB SA Brasov.
  • 1940 - The activity is reorganized by splitting  and THE MOTOR RAILCAR WORKSHOP BRASOV-TRIAJ IS FOUNDED. From this moment have begun the repairs of diesel motor railcars, as well as diesel mechanical shunting locomotives, produced by MALAXA Bucharest.
  • 1958 - The beginning of break shoes production  and different spare parts for rolling stock.
  • 1973 - A remarkable achievement when the production of heavy track maintenance machines starts, using MARUB projects and designs for the Ballast Cleaning Machines MCB-450, Ballast Regulator MP-150, Track Overhaul Motor Car UAM-215, Rail Welding Machine ISM-544 and last but not least The Tamping-Lining and Leveling Machine BNRI-85 license MATISA.
  • 1995 - Design and construction of Diesel Railcar AM-282-two units.
  • 2000 - The enterprise is entirely privatized.

  • 2003 - The start of a new project for modernizing 12 track overhaul maintenance machines with Caterpilar diesel engine and Palfinger hydraulic crane, all for Romanian Rail Infrastructure Company - CNCF CFR SA.
  • 2004 - The modernizing of 16 hydraulic locomotives for Corsican Railways, using Caterpilar engine and modifying the gauge from 760 to 1000 mm.
  • 2007- The renewal of 24 old Malaxa diesel motor units starts. Old engine and gearbox are replaced with Volvo-Allison power pack, giving the possibility of multiple units drive in CAN Bus J 1939, project ordered and sustained by state passenger transport company, SNTFC CFR CALATORI SA.
  • 2010 - A new age starts together with another team of share holders, with an entirely modern outline of buildings and workshops, with proper working conditions, which allow the refurbishment and the revival of french DMU serie X4500 Caravelle produced during 1968-1970, together with RIO/RIB push-pull passenger coaches hauled or pushed by The French "Dancers" BB 25500           electric locomotives. The main purpose of enterprise's activity is to increase the comfort and security of passengers who choose a private company to travel with.
  • 2011 - Freight wagons repairing activity has started with AFER homologation and certification under ISO 9001/2008.
  • 2012 - The first revamped RIO, type pushpull, electric reversible frame is launched into service via Brasov-Bucuresti-Constanta.
  • 2013 - Repairing of freight wagons is certified according to ERI European regulations.

         - Company KronTriem is taken over together with its task concerning the repair and maintenance of DMUs, in Brasov and Arad.

  • 2014 - Increasing of freight wagons repair capacity up to 500 wagons per year
